The Baroque Pearl Sat. April 23rd 10:30-4:30
This delicate and elegant necklace is much simpler to create than you may imagine. you will make a 4" long odd# peyote stiched tube, embellish it with deliciously colored fresh water pearls and triangle beads. For the neck piece, you will create a tangle of strands by stringing on more seed beads along with triangles and pearls then winding and looping them through each other, connecting them to either end of the peyote tube as you go. The effect is a wonderful, delicate web of pearls and beads! Pre-Class Homework Level: Must know Peyote stitch. Class Fee: $80 |

Metamorphisis
Sunday April 24th, 10:30-4:30 The changing seasons, a chill in the air, and the wonderful fall colors inspired me to create a "scarf" that represents the changes in colors from Spring into Fall. This glass scarf doesn't offer any warmth, other than the glow you get from working with amazing beads and color changes, the varying colors of the beaded maple leaves and the bright to dark greens of the Spring leaves add movement and texture to this wonderful wearable. This scarf is so versatile, you can wear it close to your neck like a tie, wrap it around like a knit scarf, or use it as a belt. You decide depending on the season and your mood. Level: Intermediate (must know Peyote Stitch and Right Angle Weave) Class Fee: $80 |
